Last week, Penfield Primary School was buzzing with excitement as we hosted our much-anticipated Fruit Frenzy Week! The event, themed “Health Benefits of Eating Fruits,” was a colorful, engaging, and educational experience for our students, who eagerly participated in various activities centered around fruits and healthy living.
We started the week with an insightful session where students learned about the nutritional value of fruits and their role in maintaining good health. Teachers and special guests discussed how fruits boost immunity, provide essential vitamins, and contribute to overall well-being.
Students brought their favorite fruits from home and shared why they love them. From juicy mangoes to crunchy apples, the variety was delightful! The activity encouraged students to explore different fruits and appreciate their unique flavors and benefits.
Creativity took center stage as students performed poems, songs, and short skits about fruits. The debate session was particularly exciting, with students passionately discussing which fruit is the healthiest and why.
Laughter and joy filled the air as students participated in fruit-themed games and competitions. From fruit puzzles to relay races, every game reinforced the importance of eating healthy while keeping the fun alive!
The week ended on a high note with a mix of interactive activities, including quizzes, fruit art, and a tasting session where students got to try new and exotic fruits. It was a perfect conclusion to an educational and exciting week
We extend our gratitude to teachers, parents, and students who made this event a memorable success. A big thank you to Junior Graphic for covering the event and highlighting the importance of healthy eating in schools.
Fruit Frenzy Week has left a lasting impact, inspiring our students to make healthier food choices. We look forward to more exciting initiatives that promote nutrition, well-being, and learning in fun and engaging ways!
